Music Stars Celebrate US Women's Soccer Team Win at 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup

Music stars are celebrating the United States women’s soccer team winning its fourth FIFA Women's World Cup title. The American team beat the Netherlands 2-0 in France on Sunday (July 7).

Artists like Niall Horan, Mark Hoppus, Trisha Yearwood and Bette Midler took to social media to congratulate the soccer team on its victory.

"Huge month or so for women’s football. New heroes made for little girls all over the world. Congrats," Horan tweeted.

Midler wrote, "FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP GOES TO THE UNITED STATES!!! What a great day, what a great game! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!!"

The U.S. team came alive in the second half of the game with co-captain Megan Rainoe and Rose Lavelle scoring goals. The win marks the fourth title overall for the United States and the first time its won back-to-trophies, ESPN reports.
