Belgium music festival VestiVille was abruptly canceled Friday (June 28) over security concerns and a fraud investigation.

The three-day festival was scheduled to take place June 28-30 in Lommel, with performers including Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, Migos, Future and Nicky Jam.

Belgium’s RTBF network, quoting the Flemish press, reported that the Limbourg prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation on suspicion of fraud over payments, according to the Associated Press

VestiVille tweeted Friday that Lommel Mayor Bob Nijs halted the festival at 5 a.m. over security concerns.

"After consultation with the security services and ASAP Rocky’s security officer, it was decided that the safety of the artist and the public could not be guaranteed," the festival wrote.

A$AP Rocky addressed the cancellation in a tweet Friday, writing, "I won't be performing today due to security and infrastructure concerns which relate to the production of the show."

VestiVille tweeted that the festival is consulting with its partners about ticket refunds.
