American Idol alumni Alejandro Aranda has announced a slate of fall North American dates performing as Scarypoolparty. The tour will feature a full band and kick off on Oct. 10 at The UC Theatre in Berkeley, Calif.

The 28-date trek will land at the Playstation Theatre in New York, the Majestic Theater in Detroit, White Oak Music Hall in Houston and close out on Nov. 21 at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles.

The newly announced dates follow a sold-out run of shows launching on July 3 and running through July 18 at the Glass House in Pomona, Calif.

“This tour will be my first ever tour as an artist which leaves me terrified and excited at the same time,” Aranda tells Billboard. “I'm looking forward to putting out new music and seeing how the songs do out on the road.”

Prior to auditioning for American Idol, Scarypoolparty was busking on the streets of Los Angeles and performing at backyard parties. Now the singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will be releasing the first single “Tonight” produced by Twin Shadow on Friday (June 28) via Hollywood Recordings.

Andra, who is managed by Red Light and repped by UTA, is currently in the studio working on new music.

Tickets for Scarypoolparty’s tour go on sale Friday (June 28) at 10am local time. Check out a full list of dates below.
