Just a few days after Slipknot co-founder M. Shawn Crahan's 22-year-old daughter Gabrielle sadly passed away on Saturday (May 18), the percussionist took to Twitter to thank fans for their support on behalf of his family.

"Chantel, Alexandria, Gage, Simon and I would like to thank everyone for the endless amount of love, prayers, thoughts, and kindness we have been receiving," he wrote on Wednesday (May 22). "While it is not possible for me to read and respond to each individual message & comment right now, I want you to know that we can feel the energy shared and we are so grateful. You have all proven that there is empathy, positivity, & strength in this community that we call humanity here on Earth."

He also revealed funeral plans for his daughter, which will take place on Sunday, May 26, in Des Moines, Iowa. Gabrielle's cause of death has not yet been revealed. See below for Crahan's message.
