Joe Jonas Thanks 'Game of Thrones' For Introducing Him to Wife Sophie Turner

Like the rest of us, Joe Jonas is a sucker for Game of Thrones. And he’s also feeling a planet-size void after the HBO drama reached its fiery, bloody conclusion earlier in the week.

But when Jonas says he loves GoT actor Sophie Turner, he really means it.

Jonas recently tied the knot with Turner, who played Sansa Stark, a central character in the dragons and skullduggery tale from the start to its very end. Without the show, the pair would’ve never hooked up, the Jonas Brother recounts in a thank-you message posted to his social accounts.

Jonas, looking crestfallen in a Paris lift, paid tribute to the blockbuster series and his wife and effortlessly gave away a huge spoiler.

He tweeted, "When you realize Game Of Thrones is over vibes.... Congratulations to everyone that worked on this incredible show! life changing television. I have you to thank for introducing me to the incredible Sophie Turner.  Long live the Queen Of The North.”

The JoBro/GoT coupling made it official when the pair wed in Las Vegas just hours after Jonas appeared on stage at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.

Jonas and Turner didn't meet at a runway, a recording studio or backstage. They followed each other on social media. "We had a lot of mutual friends, and they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time," Turner told Harpers Bazaar. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."

News of their relationship broke in December 2016, they were engaged by October 2017, and a married couple by early May of this year.

Jonas and his brothers Nick and Kevin will embark on a 40-plus-date Happiness Begins Tour of North America this summer, starting Aug. 7 in Miami. But first, their highly anticipated fifth album Happiness Begins will drop on June 7.
