Welcome to #TBT Mixtape, Billboard's series that showcases artists' very own throwback-themed playlists exclusive to Billboard's Spotify account. The curated set features the artists' favorite tracks from their youth and childhood.

This week's spin comes from Interpol. The indie rock trio is currently in the midst of a North American headlining tour in support of their critically acclaimed 2018 LP Marauder and upcoming new EP A Fine Mess, slated for release Friday via Matador. The New York City mainstays -- comprised of Paul Banks, Sam Fogarino and Daniel Kessler -- will make stops on the festival circuit this summer, including at the U.K.'s Glastonbury, Barcelona's Primavera Sound and Montreal's Osheaga, as well as a run in support of Morrissey this fall.

For its latest set, the group reunited with producer Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Flaming Lips) and pulled five tracks from their 2017 Marauder sessions that didn't make the final cut. The result is described as "a living, breathing postcard" to their fans as they tour the world this year.

To further fete the new release, Interpol crafted this week's #TBT Mixtape, comprised of their indie rock heros -- including deep cuts from Nirvana, Fugazi, The Breeders, Pixies, Sonic Youth and more. "These are some of the tracks that informed, inspired and influenced us," the band shares.
