Thomas DeLonge and Travis Barker of Blink 182 perform on stage during their Reading Leeds Festival warmup show at Brixton Academy on Aug. 6, 2014 in London, United Kingdom.

Tom DeLonge's band, Angels and Airwaves, is officially back with the gritty new tune, "Rebel Girl," and the rocker took to Instagram on Thursday (May 9) to thank his supporters for the "insane response" to the song and the recent tour announcement.

“I thought we would have a lot of amazing fans show up, but I never thought that we would sell stuff out within like 10 minutes,” he said.

He also showed support for Blink-182, whose new song "Blame It On My Youth" appears alongside "Rebel Girl" on Spotify's "Rock This" playlist. “I’m super excited for those guys, it’s cool to see the evolution of their music. You’ll also see Mark’s other band, Simple Creatures. It looks like a little bit of punk rock is seeping through on the national music lovers index.”
