Elle Fanning Sings 'Wildflowers' From 'Teen Spirit' Soundtrack: Listen

"Wildflowers," the first official single from the Teen Spirit soundtrack was released today (March 29), and it gives us a glimpse of the movie's pop star lead Violet (played by Elle Fanning) and her sound.

The song, performed by Fanning, was written by Carly Rae Jepsen, Jack Antonoff and Tavish Crowe. The soundtrack also includes 13 other songs, including covers of artists like Annie Lennox, Sigrid and Tegan and Sara, and will be released via Interscope Records on April 5.

Teen Spirit tells the story of Violet, a shy English teenager who enters a local singing competition to pursue her dream of singing. Read more about how Fanning transformed into a pop star for the role here.
