Tom DeLonge has been forever outspoken about his passion for UFOs and has dedicated a good portion of his life to research of the unknown. Now he's taking his commitment to the topic to the next level.

The former Blink-182 member is taking part in an upcoming six-part History Channel series, Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation, which discusses the government’s secret UFO program. The new 16-second promo features former military intelligence official Luis Elizondo, who, since his resignation, has joined DeLonge in his aerospace research company, To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences.

“With this show, the real conversation can finally begin," DeLonge said in a statement, according to Radio.com. "I’m thankful to History for giving the To The Stars Academy team of world-class scientists, engineers and intelligence experts the opportunity to tell the story in a comprehensive and compelling way.  I think everyone that watches the show will walk away with questions answered and a feeling of, ‘Wow, I get it now.’”

The series will air beginning in May. Watch the teaser clip below.
