Record Store Day 2019 Releases Include Robyn, Bob Dylan, Weezer & More

Record Store Day 2019 is fast approaching, with the annual event taking place Saturday, April 13, at record stores across the globe.

The organization released its official list of releases for 2019 on Thursday (Feb. 28) and it features highlights including exclusive vinyl editions of Robyn’s Body Talk, the original New York test pressing of Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks and Weezer’s 2019 self-titled covers album, Weezer (The Teal Album).

Also available will be reissues of “La Isla Bonita” by Madonna, David Bowie’s Pin Ups and The Rolling Stones’ first two compilation albums, as well as new music from the likes of Sigur Rós, The Flaming Lips, Courtney Barnett and more. Pearl Jam will serve as this year's official Record Store Day ambassadors.

Started in 2008, the yearly event is meant to celebrate record store culture by bringing together fans, artists and thousands of independent vinyl shops, and features exclusive releases, reissues and hard-to-find gems for record lovers everywhere.
