Slipknot has a longstanding beef with Nickelback, starting in 2017 when Chad Kroeger slammed the metal rock band by telling Metal Covenant, “How good can your music be if you’ve gotta beat each other up onstage, throw up in your own mask every night?”
Slipknot singer Corey Taylor retaliated by saying Kroeger has “a face like a foot” and that Nickelback “is to rock what KFC is to chicken.” However, now Taylor has a new chew toy.
He stopped by the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones’ LA-based radio show, Jonesy’s Jukebox, where he called Nickelback “the scapegoat of rock and roll."
