Cardi B Returns to Instagram, Announces New Song With Bruno Mars

Cardi B isn't letting the haters stop her. After a two-day hiatus, the rapper is back on Instagram and coming out with new music on Friday (Feb. 15).

"Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars," she wrote alongside a photo with Bruno Mars. She added the hashtag,  #twogrammywinningartist, a tribute to her fellow Grammy winner Mars and a subtle clapback at critics who felt as though Invasion of Privacy didn't deserve the rap album of the year title.

The duo collabed in January 2018 on the smash hit, "Finesse (Remix)," which went 2x platinum. The tune peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (dated Jan. 20) and the Pop Songs airplay chart (March 31).

Cardi B deactivated her Instagram on Monday (Feb. 11) following some hate over her Grammy win and backlash for getting back together with husband Offset after he was reportedly unfaithful, and taking him onstage with her as she accepted her award.
