As previously reported, the database is the most comprehensive directory of women working in music. Going forward, the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative will share its proprietary dataset of 400-plus credited female artists, writers and producers from Billboard’s Hot 100 year-end charts. Also, UMG has announced a donation of $50,000 and Billboard will chip in $25,000, sums that will benefit the SITM Database and its mentorship program.
