Chrissy Teigen Talks Kanye & John Legend Drama in New #BehindTheTweets Video

Chrissy Teigen broke down the stories surrounding some of her most memorable tweets in the latest episode of Twitter’s #BehindTheTweets series.

In the video, posted on Tuesday (Feb. 5), the model, host and unofficial Mayor of Twitter addressed everything from the drama between her husband John Legend and Kanye West to being name-dropped in a Cardi B song.

Teigen laughed off the tension between Legend and West, which prompted her to jokingly tweet Kim Kardashian “are we still doing dinner Friday or no lol” after Legend publicly criticized the rapper following one of his infamous, politically charged outbursts. (Teigen doesn’t remember which one.) The famous couples remain close friends, despite Legend continuing to hold West accountable for his controversial, headline-grabbing statements.

Referencing a tweet she posted about Cardi B, who complimented Teigen on 2018 album cut “She Bad,” the Lip Sync Battle co-host joked that the reigning queen of hip-hop may rap about her but doesn’t actually follow her yet. “I was just doing a Twitter timeline of making biscuits and I dropped my biscuits,” she said with a laugh. “But Cardi, follow a bitch.”
