Michelle Obama kicks off her book tour with a signing at the Seminary Co-op bookstore on Nov. 13, 2018 in Chicago.

The first set of moderators have been announced for the 2019 leg of Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama.

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel will help kick off the tour on Feb. 8 in Tacoma, Washington, with 2 Dope Queens’ Phoebe Robinson taking over moderator duties in Portland, Ore. on Feb. 9. Valerie Jarrett, former senior adviser to President Barack Obama and close friend of Michelle, will moderate the Feb. 12 tour stop in Phoenix, Ariz.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour serves as a live extension of Mrs. Obama’s best-selling 2018 memoir, Becoming, and features the former First Lady’s honest reflections on the events that have shaped both her public and private life. Moderators at previous events included Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon, Tracee Ellis Ross and Oprah Winfrey.

“I’m thrilled to get back out on the road for this final round of events at home and around the world, and I can’t wait to continue these conversations in new cities and with such extraordinary moderators,” Mrs. Obama said in a statement. “For me, this tour isn’t just about discussing my memoir—it’s about all of us understanding ourselves and our stories, taking comfort in being together and celebrating our own becoming, no matter where in that process we might be.”

Moderators for the remainder of the tour are expected to be announced soon. Check out a full list of ‘Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama’ tour dates below.
