Beyonce Is 'Proud' of Chloe x Halle After Super Bowl 2019 Performance

The Patriots weren’t the only winners at Super Bowl LIII.

Beyonce’s protégés Chloe and Halle Bailey, known to the rest of us as Chloe x Halle, kicked off the biggest night in sport with an impeccable rendition of "America the Beautiful." The pair crushed it, the Internet swooned and Queen Bey herself admits she was proud.

Later, Beyonce shared a performance clip of the Grammy-nominated duo, along with the caption: “I’m so proud of Chloe and Halle.”

The Super Bowl is the latest chapter in the sibling duo’s impressive playbook. They first captured the spotlight with their catchy YouTube covers of R&B and hip-hop standards, including a version of Beyonce’s "Pretty Hurts. Mrs Carter loved what she saw. In time, she signed them to her label, Parkwood Entertainment, and the sisters made a cameo in the video accompaniment to 2016’s Lemonade.

Beyonce has always encouraged us to trust our intuition," Chloe told Vulture last year. "I’m so grateful because some artists are not able to do that, but we are, and it means the world to us."

Beyonce has ever reason to be proud. See her Instagram below.
