During Grammy week Citi will also present The Roots Jam Sessions invite-only event taking place Feb. 8-9. The Roots have hosted the special star-studded event for more than a decade and seen surprise appearances from Miley Cyrus, John Legend, Lenny Kravitz and Ed Sheeran. There will be a limited allotment of tickets for the Jam Sessions exclusively for Citi cardmembers.
“For the past 10 years we have worked closely with Citi to create personalized experiences for their cardmembers by leveraging the amazing power of live music,” executive vp of Live Nation Darin Wolf. “Citi Sound Vault has set the bar on how to cultivate a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans by combining access and exclusivity to incredible artists across the board.”
Cit and Live Nation have also teamed up with Trevor “Trouble” Andrew, the artist behind "Gucci Ghost" to launch an exclusive, limited edition Citi Sound Vault capsule collection. Cardmembers will have access to Andrew’s custom black and gold collection inspired by the Citi Sound Vault experience.
“We’re thrilled to take cardmember access even further through a capsule collection by famed artist Trevor Andrew, enabling fans to celebrate the experience through fashion,” said Citi’s global consumer CMO Jennifer Breithaupt in a release.
Andrew’s collection will launch on Feb. 7 via a pop-up experience, within the walls of the Hollywood Palladium. Citi cardmembers who purchased tickets to one of the three Citi Sound Vault shows will have the opportunity to purchase items from the collection. Net proceeds from all sales will benefit Musicians on Call, a non-profit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.
Starting today (Jan. 22) fans who wish to attend the shows can register for tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan.
