If you forgot to make a New Year's resolution this year, Beyoncé and JAY-Z have you covered. In the intro to a new book, the couple urges fans to try veganism.

The book, The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, Better World, was written by Marco Borges, Beyoncé's personal trainer, and in the intro, she and JAY-Z open up about how becoming parents changed their outlook on what they eat.

"Having children has changed our lives more than anything else,” they wrote. “We used to think of health as a diet – some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible."

They added that more people adopting a plant-based diet would have "a profound impact" on the environment, adding that they want to "want to challenge you, as we challenge ourselves" to give it a try.

"We all have a responsibility to stand up for our health and the health of the planet. Let’s take this stand together. Let’s spread the truth. Let’s make this mission a movement. Let’s become 'the Greenprint,'" they wrote.
