The 41st annual Kennedy Center Honors were broadcast on CBS Wednesday (Dec. 26), and Kelly Clarkson paid tribute to one of the honorees, Reba McEntire, with a performance of her sassy hit, "Fancy."

In a clip posted by the Kennedy Center, Clarkson nails both the soft and gritty notes of the tune, as McEntire clapped and cheered from the audience.

The KC Honors national celebration of the arts took place Dec. 2 and was hosted by 2017 honoree Gloria Estefan. Other artists to receive the honor this year included Cher, pianist Philip Glass and jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter. Lin-Manuel Miranda, director Thomas Kail, choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler and music director Alex Lacamoire were also recognized.
