21 Savage's “ASMR,” off his new album I Am > I Was, caused a bit of controversy over lyrics in the second verse: “We been gettin’ that Jewish money, everything is Kosher.” While some have interpreted the rap to be anti-Semitic, the rapper took to Twitter on Christmas to explain that was not his intention.

"The Jewish people I know are very wise with [their] money so that’s why I said we been gettin Jewish money," he wrote. "I never thought anyone would take offense I’m sorry if I offended everybody never my intention I love all people."

Basketball star LeBron James recently also apologized for using the lyric as a caption for one of his Instagram posts, noting to ESPN that he "thought it was a compliment."
