After Pete Davidson shared an alarming Instagram post this past Saturday (Dec. 15), his friend and co-star Machine Gun Kelly flew to New York City to make sure the SNL star was okay.

"I'm in the plane now on the way to see Pete," the rapper wrote on Twitter on Dec. 15. "Gonna make sure he’s good, I promise. Can’t have my boy in the darkness like that."

The two, who filmed the upcoming movie Big Time Adolescence together this past summer, were later photographed embracing in New York City.

"I really don't want to be on this earth anymore," Davidson wrote before deleting his Instagram. "I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”

Davidson made a brief SNL appearance following the incident.
