Elton John was scheduled to take the stage at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday night (Nov. 27). However, the concert has been canceled due to the singer's ear infection.

The arena took to Twitter to announce the news, but encouraged concertgoers to "hold onto your tickets," as the show will soon be rescheduled. The show was part of the icon's Farewell Yellow Brick Road three-year tour, which kicked off Sept. 8 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Fans who already parked at the venue, purchased merch, food and drinks were upset over the late cancelation, announced 20 minutes after the show was supposed to start. Amway Center has promised that all receipts and passed will be honored for the rescheduled date.

The Nov. 28 show in Tampa at Amalie Arena has also been postponed.  See below.
