Kim Porter is seen arriving to Tom Ford Women's Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory on Feb. 8, 2018 in New York City.

One day after Kim Porter tragically died at age 47, singer-songwriter Al B. Sure! honored her memory on Instagram. The two dated in the early 1990s and had one son together, Quincy Brown.

Al posted a throwback black-and-white photo of the couple, captioned with a reference to the Jodeci song he produced, “Forever My Lady.” The 1991 smash hit was inspired by the late model and actress.
