It’s been nearly a decade since Mumford & Sons set their career in motion with the epic folk-rock debut, “Little Man Lion.”
Four albums later, the British band is going strong and their sound and style has evolved. It’s all laid right out in Delta, their latest LP which dropped overnight.
Produced by Grammy-winner Paul Epworth at the Church Studios in London, the new effort features the previously released tracks “Guiding Light” and “If I Say” and runs for an hour in total. It was like an experiment from the start, Epworth said of the recording process. “They were open to giving me a bit of space to run with stuff (and) try out what I had in mind,” he explained. “It definitely made me feel like I was essentially a fifth member of the band.”
