Lady Gaga arrives at the Los Angeles premiere of "A Star Is Born" at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sept. 24, 2018.

Lady Gaga knows that the line to vote can be long and discouraging, but she wants her fans to stick out the long hours and exercise their right to choose the result of Tuesday's (Nov. 6) midterm elections.

"If you’re in line, stay in line. Every vote counts!" she tweeted, alongside the popular hashtag of the day, #StayInLine. The caption accompanies a photo of the superstar's white converse with a sticker that reads, "Every vote counts." The message comes as a result of reports of long, several-hour lines at polling sites in Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Arizona and Texas. Malfunctioning voting equipment also caused issues for voters in New York City, North Carolina, Alabama and Texas.
