Sam Smith returned to the Austin City Limits stage for the first time since 2014, and Billboard has the exclusive on two performances of his biggest hits.

In the hour-long PBS special, which will air in conjunction with Anderson East's episode, Smith sings "Pray" and "Too Good at Goodbyes," both delivered with the superstar's characteristic emotion and rich vocals.

Before "Pray," Smith reminisced on his first time at ACL. "About four years ago, I played a show here and I remember being very, very nervous," he recalled. "I think it was like two months before the Grammys and I was singing a lot and I had been playing really amazing shows. But coming back into a space like this was so special. That show four years ago--and I’m not just saying this--was one of my favorite shows that I’ve ever done. So this means that we have to beat that show tonight."

The full episode airs Oct. 20 on PBS.  Watch "Pray" and "Too Good at Goodbyes" below.
