Pete Davidson performs onstage at the Colossal Stage during Colossal Clusterfest at Civic Center Plaza and The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on June 3, 2017 in San Francisco.

Pete Davidson was scheduled to headline "Comedy Night Live" at Temple University in Philadelphia on Wednesday (Oct. 17), but has officially pulled out of the gig.

According to TMZ, Davidson canceled his performance for "personal" reasons, as the event comes just days after his breakup with fiancee Ariana Grande. The two were engaged in June after a few weeks of dating. Grande herself canceled a performance at a cancer benefit gala a few hours before news broke of the split.

The university took to Twitter to update students on the change of events, noting that Adam DeVine will be replacing the SNL star as the headliner. See below.
