The Smiths are trying to make this a thing now.

The past couple months have brought us no shortage of viral challenges -- from the #UproarChallenge, which features people dancing to the Swizz Beatz-produced Lil Wayne hit from Tha Carter V, to Ciara's #LevelUp challenge -- and now Will Smith is tossing his hat into the ring.

During a Target run with son and rapper Jaden Smith to promote JUST Water, the 50-year-old talent created the #PiggyBackChallenge to see if he can get other dads to join him carrying their offspring around on their shoulders. "I saw this Father in @Target with his Child on his shoulders... I got Jealous," he wrote on Instagram. "Fathers out there... Y’all ready for the #PiggyBackChallenge?"

The details of the challenge aren't particularly clear, but it appears that you're supposed to give someone else a piggyback ride. For those doubting the Fresh Prince, keep in mind that he was the widely-regarded winner of the #InMyFeelings challenge that ruled the summer.

Smith posted a longer video of the Target trip to his Instagram, featuring clips from the father-son duo stocking shelves, signing autographs and eventually kicking off the challenge. "This is what love is supposed to look like," Will joked to Jaden. "I need you to commit."
