Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe and Amanda Palmer join a starry lineup for a “Protest Kavanaugh” event this Thursday (Oct. 4) in Washington, DC.

Organizers have assembled more than 20 artists, authors, actors and producers for the protest concert at the Supreme Court, which is dubbed “Bravery Is Contagious.”

The gathering follows a national walkout staged last Monday (Sept. 24) in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, who've accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

“We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday,” organizers Party Majority PAC write on the event’s official website. “It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington.”
