Alessia Cara to Headline Advertising Week NY Wrap Party in Partnership With Time's Up/Advertising: Exclusive

Advertising Week is celebrating its 15th anniversary this October, and Grammy winner Alessia Cara is headlining the New York wrap party to benefit TIME’S UP™/ADVERTISING.

The event, which takes place at NYC's Terminal 5 on Oct. 4, is part of an effort to shed light on the next generation of female power players in music. Additionally, the partnership with TIME’S UP™/ADVERTISING will include dedicated thought leadership content on stage via the year-round AW360 platform.

Advertising Week will also donate a minimum of $200,000 to TIME’S UP™/ADVERTISING, an affiliate within TIME’S UP's growing league of women who aim to shift workplace culture to make room for new policies and practices. Their goal is a more balanced and equal workplace with eliminated discrimination, harassment and abuse. 

“For the last 15 years Advertising Week has provided a platform for dynamic and progressive conversations on important issues that impact the daily life of the advertising, marketing and tech industries. Today, there is no more important conversation than the diversity and inclusion of all people,” Advertising Week co-founder and COO Lance Pillersdorf said of the partnership. “Our partnership with TIME’S UP™/ADVERTISING is about building the industry and the next generation of female talent for the next 15 years and beyond. ”
