Good news: Hollywood's diversity problem is solved!

That's according to Saturday Night Live stars and Emmy nominees Kenan Thompson and Kate McKinnon, who spearheaded a raucous musical opening number on Monday night's (Sept. 17) Emmy Awards.

"We've gotten with the times/ There's room for all our voices, but mostly Shonda Rhimes," the pair sang. "Welcome Asian people, we gave you that one show/ Who can forget the amazing Sandra Oh?"

Thompson and McKinnon were joined by Kristen Bell, Tituss Burgess and Sterling K. Brown before American Crime Story star Ricky Martin offered some much-needed Latin flair to the song. Then there was Andy Samberg asking whether a "straight white guy" could join them (no, he couldn't) and RuPaul carrying a telephone in to inform Thompson, no, they surely hadn't solved it. There was also the "One of Each" dance troupe and a final cameo from John Legend, who was still pretty convinced that the diversity issue was a thing of the past.
