Sebastian Maniscalco to Headline Madison Square Garden on Jan. 19
Maniscalco will also receive Billboard's first ever Comedian of the Year award at the Billboard Live Music Summit, Nov. 13 & 14 at the Montage in Beverly Hills.
Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is starting the new year at the top of the comedy game, taking the stage at Madison Square Garden Jan. 19, 2019 for an evening produced by the Madison Square Garden Company and Outback Concerts, he announced earlier today.
“I told my father that I was going to do The Garden and he said, ‘I hope you’re planting cucumbers and tomatoes,’” said Maniscalco. “This is an amazing time for me and my family and I can’t wait to perform at the greatest arena in the world.”
Later this year, Maniscalco will be honored with Billboard's first ever Comedian of the Year Award during the Billboard Live Music Summit, Nov. 13 & 14 at the Montage in Beverly Hills. Maniscalco is being honored for his nonstop, full-force "Stay Hungry" comedy tour that included a sellout performance at L.A.'s Greek Theatre, a historic five-show run at New York's Radio City Music Hall and dozens of sold out performances and double bookings at venues and theaters across North America.
After publishing his best-selling memoir Stay Hungry earlier this year, Maniscalco has appeared in a number of films including TAG and upcoming fall films Cruise and Green Book. Next year Maniscaclo will perform as mobster Joe Gallo in Martin Scorcese’s The Irishman and release a comedy special on Netflix.
Tickets and VIP packages for the Madison Square Garden performance go on sale to the general public on Friday, (Sept. 21) at 10:00 a.m. EST. Chase cardholders will have advance access to tickets starting Sept. 18. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.
