Hurricane Florence, the dangerous Category 1 tropical storm that is currently hitting the shorelines of the East Coast, has left a path of destruction in North and South Carolina. Meanwhile, some celebrities have taken to Twitter to send good wishes to residents affected by the storm and share evacuation information to help ensure safety.

Cher was among some of the stars that joined in on tweeting about the storm, and stated that she is praying for those within Hurricane Florence's path, adding that "at this moment we are all brothers, sisters."

Basketball player Stephen Curry also extended prayers to his home state and told residents to "stay safe and take every precaution that you can!"
