Shakira kicks off the North American leg of her El Dorado World Tour at United Center on Aug. 3, 2018 in Chicago.

Shakira shimmy and shook the Forum in Inglewood, California on Tuesday night (Aug. 28), but was forced to cancel her second show at the venue due to illness.

The singer took to Instagram to share the news with her followers, writing, "Los Angeles, thank you so much for one of the most unforgettable night of the tour last night. You guys were such an unbelievable crowd. I was so excited to sing and dance with you again tonight."

"However, after the show I started to feel unwell and I woke up this morning with a virus that has knocked me off my feet," she continued. "I'm so sorry that I am unable to perform tonight."

The concert has been rescheduled for September 3, and Shakira's doctors said she will be able to perform in Anaheim as expected on August 31. The singer's El Dorado Tour spans until November 3 in her home country of Colombia.
