Noah Guthrie performs on America's Got Talent on Aug. 21, 2018.

There were no covers, no pop and Noah Guthrie left nothing to chance when he performed Tuesday night on America’s Got Talent. As AGT reached the quarter-final phase, the Glee alum rocked out in a big way with the performance of an original song, "Show Me Some Mercy.”

Guthrie had the audience – and judges – in raptures with his bluesy number, which showcased his muscular vocals.

Guthrie played Roderick Meeks in the sixth and final season of Glee, and announced himself to a different type of show when he auditioned for AGT in June with a reimagined version of Rihanna’s Anti track “Love On The Brain.

Viewers can vote on the performances until early Wednesday (7 a.m. ET). Later in the evening, AGT will reveal the seven acts to advance to the semi-finals. Stream the song in full below.
