Iconic heavy metal rock band Judas Priest will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2019. Formed in 1969, the band achieved critical acclaim with the release of their 1982 album, Screaming for Vengeance.
Frontman and lead vocalist Rob Halford recently chatted with 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia, where he was asked if the band had any ideas for the milestone.
“We are, yes. We’re already having discussions every now and again in the band, with our label, our promoters and management,” Halford told the radio station. “We have some ideas and when we get close to solidifying something, we’ll let you know. It’s going to be a great year -- what a celebration. Another incredible milestone for Judas Priest that we’re looking forward to sharing with everybody.”
