Epic Records Confirms Travis Scott is Actually Giving Away Money to Fans

It's not a scam. Travis Scott is paying his fans to thank them for their support.    

The rapper had his Instagram followers in a frenzy on Tuesday (Aug. 14) when he posted a photo claiming that he has $100,000 to give out. All fans have to do is comment their Cash App username and their favorite "Trav song." Within two hours, the post garnered more than 300,000 comments.     

Epic Records confirmed the generosity in an email announcing the news. The rapper, who recently released his summer album, Astroworld, has already transferred $50 to some lucky winners and retweeted all the joy exerted by his biggest fans. See below.
