Bette Midler has seen her fair share of unpopular Presidents, and she's ready to see history repeat itself.

The actress took to Twitter to compare Donald Trump to Richard Nixon, who resigned on August 9, 1974 following the infamous Watergate scandal. "Nixon resigned 44 years ago today," she wrote. "Go ahead, Donald! Today’s as good a day as any, and he wasn’t half the criminal you are!"

Midler is an outspoken opposer of Trump, often tweeting her disapproval of the President's decisions. Trump even tweeted an unsurprising jab at the actress back in 2012, calling her an "an extremely unattractive woman."
