The singer/ventriloquist will lead the special titled “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas.”
The 2017 winner of America’s Got Talent Darci Lynne Farmer will star in a one-hour holiday special for NBC. “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas” will feature the 13-year-old with special musical guests and heartfelt visits to her hometown of Oklahoma City.
Airing in December, Farmer will bring to life her characters including the show-stopping rabbit Petunia, the shy mouse Oscar, and the brash Edna. Through ventriloquism and song, Farmer will deliver a high-energy special filled with laughs for the holiday season.
The performance will be taped later this fall at Alex Theatre in Glendale, Calif. after Farmer’s 40-city tour. A December airdate will be announced soon.
Special guests are expected to perform songs with the Oklahoma native and her puppets.
Farmer is currently touring the United States with shows in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, and more.
The special will be executive produced by Judi Marmel, Stu Schreiberg and Marilyn Seabury through Triage Entertainment, in association with Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment. Farmer is represented by UTA and Levity Entertainment Group.
