“Personal Jesus” is one of those beauties that improves with age. The raunchy, throbbing number appeared on Depeche Mode’s excellent 1990 album Violator, a hit on both sides of the Atlantic. It’s a song every band wishes it created. "Personal Jesus" changed lives, it sounds better loud and it sits high on many music fans’ all-time list.

So, what if Def Leppard jumped on in and covered the song? The ‘80s British rockers did just that for their Spotify Singles session, along with a rendition of “Hysteria,” the title track from their legendary 1987 album which earlier this year dropped on streaming services for the first time.
