Troye Sivan & Spotify Host 'Bloom' Album Listening Party for His Biggest Fans
Troye Sivan’s sophomore album, Bloom, is just one month away from its release, and the singer gave his biggest fans a little treat with an intimate album release party.
With the help of Spotify's Fans First program, Sivan brought his 50 biggest supporters to a gorgeous outdoor viewpoint overlooking the entire city of Los Angeles. Guests were treated to the ultimate Bloom interactive experience and, as expected, everything was floral. From the flower-encrusted photo booth to the free roses and pink lighting, Sivan really took everyone on a trip into his garden. Fans were even encouraged to send postcards to their loved ones.
On that note, love seemed to be a theme throughout the entire night. When the crooner took the stage to perform five songs off his record, he told the crowd that his upcoming album is full of love songs. He played hits including "My My My" and "Dance to This" to a swaying, smiling audience who couldn't believe they were part of such an amazing opportunity, and the night officially kicked off.
After the performance, Sivan led his fans into a massive bubble capsule, where he lay among them on printed rugs and bean bags to hear the new album in its entirety, paired with a mesmerizing projected light show. Before each tune, the "Good Side" singer explained its significance along with relatable personal anecdotes. He even revealed that the group was the first in the world to hear the record. The fans laughed with Sivan and bopped along to every song, a visual testament to the unique connection they have.
Bloom is due out August 31.
