Missy Elliott Shares Support For Michelle Williams' Depression: 'I Want to Lift Our Sis Up in Prayer Because There Are So Many People Battling This'

Michelle Williams checked into a mental health facility a few days ago for her ongoing battle with depression, and her pal Missy Elliott is sending all the good vibes.

"I want to lift our sis up in prayer because there are so many people battling this & many trying to deal with it alone," Elliott wrote on Twitter Tuesday (July 17). "Please No jokes this is REAL & as human beings let’s keep the ones who are openly dealing with it uplifted & be encouraging to them! Love u @RealMichelleW."   

Naturally, Williams is continuing to be surrounded by support on social media. One of Destiny's Child's original members, LaTavia Roberson encouraged her girl to "keep shining," while fans flooded the Twittersphere with kind words and well wishes. See below.
