Bella Thorne arrives at 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2017 at The Forum on Dec. 1, 2017 in Inglewood, Calif.

Famous in Love has officially been canceled by Freeform after two seasons, but its star didn't get the memo.

Bella Thorne took to Twitter to express her disappointment over how she found out about the news--on social media. She retweeted an article with the caption, "If this is how I find out our show is canceled..I’m going to be so upset. Very hurtful freeform. I woulda liked a phone call maybe."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Disney-owned network originally wanted a third season for the teen series and asked Hulu for a larger contribution. But due to the decline in viewership, the streaming service declined and Freeform decided to cancel the show altogether.
