At the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards, pop icon Janet Jackson received the first-ever Impact Award, which recognizes an artist as one of the most influential and transformative forces in pop music.

Billboard obtained an exclusive photo of the moment Jackson hit the stage to accept the award on Friday night (June 22) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Fans can see it all go down Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT when the RDMAs air on Disney Channel and Disney-branded platforms, including Radio Disney, the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and Disney.com/RDMA.

Jackson is currently preparing for her State of the World Tour, beginning July 11 in Austin, Texas, and traveling through the States over the summer.

Other honorees at Friday night's show included Carrie Underwood receiving the Hero Award and Kelly Clarkson receiving the Icon Award. Underwood (with Ludacris) and Clarkson also performed at the show, along with performances from Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth, American Idol winner Maddie Poppe, Marshmello and Echosmith.
