Iggy Azalea has been teasing hints about her upcoming third album, Surviving the Summer, for a while now, and she finally shared that it will be available July 6.

In a tweet posted Friday (June 9), the rapper, who turned 28 years old the day before, revealed the news. "Since i cant seem to speak about anything without being asked - when is the EP dropping," she wrote. "S.T.S is dropping July 6th. #TheMoreYouKnow."

She then responded to fan question asking why the release date was postponed. (It was originally set to drop June 2 before switching to June 30). "My record label, Island records, is changing presidents this month. We have to allow time for everyone in the company to re-organise, its a big change!"

The album was also supposed to be titled Digital Distortion, before she did away with the name in November in favor of Surviving the Summer. The EP follows her 2014 sophomore record, Reclassified.
