Everyone’s gettin' down on Friday, but Thursday sure packed some surprises when Rebecca Black showed up as a contestant on The Four.

The one-hit-wonder stunned judges when she stepped onto the stage for the season two premiere. Before showing off her skills, a thrilled Meghan Trainor recognized the “Friday” singer and asked the YouTube star to revisit her “legendary” story and the viral hit which, briefly, made her a household name.

“There were so many cool things that came out of it. But it also gave me a lot of setbacks. Because there were tons of people who didn’t love it,” Black, now 20, told the panel.

"I could not be more grateful for the platform you guys gave me to just be who I truly am and to do what I love more than anything else in the world," she tweeted. "What a huge weight lifted and I cannot wait to show you what's to come."

The Four airs Thursday nights on Fox. Watch Rebecca Black’s performance below.
