Taylor Swift Goes Redhead For Sugarland's Cinematic 'Babe' Video: Watch the Teaser

Taylor Swift might be the biggest pop star on the planet, but she’s still a country girl. And just maybe, an actor.

TayTay made a fleeting appearance at the 2018 CMT Music Awards, though she wasn’t nominated, she didn’t perform, and she wasn’t there in person. As trophies were handed out, Swifties got a glimpse at a glamorous redhead Taylor when the trailer premiered for Sugarland's cinematic "Babe" video, in which she stars alongside Superman actor Brandon Routh and what appears to be the reunited country act's singer Jennifer Nettles, playing his wealthy, and troubled, wife.

There's trouble in the mansion, and it's all Taylor's doing. The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer is in full femme fatale mode as she steals Routh’s attention. Drama ensues. Martinis are drunk in silence. What happens next, we'll have to wait until Saturday (June 9) when the retro music video drops in full.

Swift originally co-wrote "Babe" with Train singer Patrick Monahan for her 2012 album, Red. It'll appear on Sugarland’s new album, Bigger, which is out Friday (June 8) and was co-produced by Sugarland and Julian Raymond.
