Country crooner Trace Adkins will be taking the stage at a Nashville fundraiser on May 29, with President Donald Trump as the headliner.

The rally in support of Republican Senate candidate and U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn will mark Trump's third visit to Nashville since the beginning of his presidency. The event will take place at the Municipal Auditorium.

Blackburn is hoping to take the place of fellow Republican Sen. Bob Corker, who is retiring. In the current Senate, Republicans currently hold a slim 51-49 majority.

Adkins has expressed support for Trump in the past, and has worked with him directly on Season 7 of Celebrity Apprentice, in which the country star was the finalist.
