Former first lady Michelle Obama’s first memoir is on its way -- and we now know what the cover will look like. Becoming, on shelves November 13, features a cheerful, casual shot of Obama in a sleeveless white top.

The shot was taken by celebrity photographer Miller Mobley and handpicked by Obama herself for the cover. In a Twitter announcement, Obama described the aim of the book, which carries the theme of identity and personal stories: “Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own.”

The book cover reveal was preceded by a series of posts Obama made on her Instagram account that gave an intimate view of various parts of her life story; a little girl in the South Side of Chicago, her college years at Princeton University, her wedding day.
