Teairra Mari arrives for VH1's Hip Hop Honors: The 90's Game Changers at Paramount Studios on September 17, 2017 in Hollywood, California.

Teairra Mari has officially responded to photos of her engaging in sexual acts that were leaked throughout the Internet Wednesday (May 9). The Love & Hip Hop star explained that she was hacked by an ex-lover.

"Recently, my social media was compromised by someone who I felt was deserving of my love and trust," she wrote on Twitter. "I recognize the need to be more cautious and discerning. My hope is for women to remain strong and dignified when they find themselves having to address hateful and juvenile acts by former lovers who find it difficult to act in an adult manner."

Mari ended by noting, "Revenge Porn is a crime in California and I will be in pursuit of justice." In California, revenge porn can lead to a misdemeanor and up to six months in jail. See her post below.
